well. not a damn thing happened at our meeting today... which is the way things usually go... *L*... was difficult to be upset at the dumb lady today.... her son was in a really bad car accident over the weekend... has 3 broken bones in his spine... and is undergoing sugery tomorrow to fuse them together and put in a rod....

she had her evaluation today... but no apology to me... which is fine, cuz i think that would have been sort of embarrassing... i don't require an apology really, like a kindergarten teacher... being apologetic isn't necessary... what IS necessary is behavior modification with that kinda thing so it doesn't happen AGAIN. and compliance to the rules and protocols that we go by as an accredited facility. That is plenty for me. do your fucking job and don't gimme any lip for doing mine. very simple. *L*

i HATE meetings, though... i don't really mind that all the night techs hate me... lol... *shrugs*... i used to be one of them... i'm a "traitor" because i got promoted, and it is now my job to correct them about how they're doing theirs. *L* such is life, i guess... makes for a tense situation being in the same room with ALL of them at one time though... [img]confused.gif[/img]

i guess if work was always pleasant, it would be called "funtime that you get paid for" instead of "work"... [img]wink.gif[/img]

Eh...I was in the ER again. They did an ultrasound of my appendix to make sure it wasn't what was causing me so much pain and the only thing they can think of is it is the muscles that hold my uterus in place starting to stretch since this is my first pregnancy OR that my gall bladder is about to go bad even though it isn't showing up on the blood tests. On a side note they did check on the little critter and the baby is doing fine. [img]smile.gif[/img]

...you need an ultrasound of the gallbladder...

and, being that i hold a degree in the field... i feel i know what i'm talking about! lol... (though i don't do it for a living, and never have... oh, the wasted time and money, lol)

they should have done this while they were already GIVING you one... i'm sure they probably looked at it... but they need to look, number one, while you are NPO for about 6-8 hours... then, they need to either give you an IV of cholecycstokinen, or send you out to eat a fairly fatty meal, then have you come back, and look at it again.... Just because you don't have stones or abnormal blood tests doesn't mean your GB is functioning normally... if it does not contract after you've eaten, then it is not functioning at 100%, for whatever reason... if you keep having problems, make them check it out...
